Just wanted to say how well our event with Alice Pung a few weeks ago went. She was, as always, brilliant and we really appreciate your help with all the arrangements.

Alice enthralled us all with her stories and anecdotes. In a delightful, humorous and engaging manner she maintained the attention of the girls for over an hour. Alice shifted her focus to ‘Identity and Belonging’ especially for us, which was perfect for the girls; they left the auditorium full of dreams, hopes and ideas.

Stella in Schools Program
The Stella in Schools program aims to inspire students - girls and boys - with great Australian women's writing, and examine the unconscious gender biases in relation to reading. Alice is a
Stella Schools program speaker. For more information about the program, visit the Stella Prize website
here.
This was a Panel Discussion I curated with the City of Melbourne, featuring three wonderful speakers Leah Van Poppel, Murray Turner and David Vincent. Each speaker discussed how they learned to 'read' their world differently - Murray through his dyslexia, Leah through her blindness and deafness, and David through being a refugee child. - Alice Pung
